​  Lakeside Club of Manistee County 2025 Scholarship for Service




​​Since 1885, the women of the Lakeside Club of Manistee County strive purposefully every year to enhance the lives of all that live in Manistee County. This scholarship program will further our mission.  This year the Lakeside Club is offering a $1,500 Scholarship for Service to one qualifying young woman from each public and private high school located in Manistee County. 

Congratulations to our 2025 Lakeside Club of Manistee Scholarship for Service Recipients:

1.Isabella Vasquez - Bear Lake High School
2. Heather Zielinski - Onekama High School
3. Alice Amstutz - Brethren High School
4. Cadence Brown - Manistee High School


Scholarship requirements are:
  1. Be able to demonstrate community and school involvement.
  2. Have acceptance at a college, junior college, university, trade school or certification program within twelve months of high school graduation.
  3. Genuinely cares for others before self/is an advocate for anti-bullying
  4. Be a good citizen that is respected by her peers
  5. A no longer than two-page essay: What Have I Done to Impact My Community and How Will My Education Help Impact My Community in the Future?
  6. Two letters of recommendation from non-related adults who know the applicant and can attest to her character
  7. Applications must be received no later than April 18, 2025.

To apply for a scholarship the student can contact their counselor or download the application and mail this along with their essay and letters of recommendation to Lakeside Club, Attention: Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 753, Manistee 49660.
